LOCAL AREA
Cherry Tree Lodge is nestled in an ancient Scots Pine forest where you can spot red squirrels, pine martens, deer, woodpecker, goshawk and red kite. The famous Caledonian Canal is visible from the lodge, and there is easy access to the towpath for an easy, beautiful walk by the water.
There is plenty to do in Inverness, with a theatre, cinema, shops, arts venues, botanic garden, historical sites and much more just waiting to be explored. THE LODGE
The Lodge was built in 2021 to exceedingly high standards and specification. It is constructed of polar pine from Lapland, Finland.
A bespoke design, the Lodge comprises two bedrooms (one double and one en-suite twin with shower), an open plan kitchen/diner and accessible bathroom.
The Lodge is heated by an airsource heat pump providing constant ambient underfloor heating.
Triple glazing and high specification insulation ensures the building remains at a steady temperature even in the depths of a cold Highland winter.
A back-up stove provides a stunning centrepiece whilst also drawing your eye upwards to the spectacular vaulted ceiling.
THE KITCHEN
The layout of the kitchen space makes it extremely easy to access any of the appliances that have been fitted with ease of access in mind. These appliances include an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. On top of this, the kitchen has a full range of cooking utensils to make a night in that more enjoyable.
THE BATHROOMS
The main bathroom is accessible to the whole of the downstairs. It features a spacious bath tub and a large shower which stands alone. In addition, a large mirror was fitted in front of the sink that can be lit up.
The twin bedroom upstairs features its own bathroom which holds a shower. The Velux window gives the en suite some natural light during the day time.
THE LOUNGE
The lounge is the best seat of the house. Looking over onto the rest of Inverness and beyond you won’t be disappointed. With a wood burner stove, it is the best place to crash out in the evenings when it is getting colder outside.
THE BEDROOMS
The Master bedroom is spacious yet cosy. Featuring the King Size bed with luxury linen and fabulous deep pilled pillows. The advanced heating system combined with this will ensure you get the best sleep possible.
The bedroom upstairs is extremely versatile. The two single beds can be used as a double bed, twin bed or just one single which makes it perfect for any group that is coming to stay. Featuring high quality sheets as well, this room will make you feel right at home.
OUTDOOR SPACE
The lodge has ample outdoor space for parking, partying, BBQ’ing and wildlife watching.
A short walk will find you at the canal.
